Marketing director Laura Larson is in charge of all the events at the Pearl Street Whole Foods. She says it’s a good gig. “Lots of people come to events and just stand there and smile and say, ‘I just love this place.’ When you ask them why, they can’t really say specifically.” It’s obvious, isn’t it? Whole Foods and Boulder County were made for each other. We are some of the most health-conscious, environmentally aware people in the country; Whole Foods is home to unparalleled natural and organic products, and shares our commitment to the planet. We appreciate it when a business goes above and beyond our expectations; one of the core values at Whole Foods is “satisfying and delighting our customers.” Prepare to be delighted by Whole Foods again this football season, thanks to Larson and her dedicated team. The Pearl Street store will be hosting tailgate parties in its parking lot for all the CU home games. “We’ll be grilling, handing out pom-poms, dressing up in our CU gear and having fun with it,” enthuses Larson. “And people can park here for free and ride the bus over to the game.”
