Walters & Hogsett Fine Jewelers is about to enter its 30th year of business, and its offerings get more exciting every year. “We make sure that we are staying on the leading edge of what’s going on in the jewelry industry, and the fashion industry since those industries go hand in hand,” says co-owner B.J. Vieregg. “We try really hard to have a tremendously diverse group of designs and designers, to constantly feature fun, exciting, new things.” Case in point: Walters & Hogsett just launched Rebecca, a new jewelry line made in Italy. The pieces are trendy, oversized, youthful and affordable. And to give you an idea of how Walters & Hogsett is viewed by decision makers in the industry, it is one of only 50 stores in the United States that was chosen to carry Rebecca. The store is held in high esteem locally as well, and not only for its outstanding products and customer service. Walters & Hogsett supports about 75 local nonprofit organizations every year. “We try to do everything we can to support our community,” says Vieregg. “We do a little bit for everyone, and then we pick three or four groups a year to receive a more substantial donation.” In the past, Boulder Community Hospital, Impact on Education, Colorado Music Festival and HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties have been recipients of large contributions from the jeweler. By supporting so many organizations, we are all on the receiving end of Walters & Hogsett’s generosity.
