“People love the HospiceCare & Share Thrift Shop because it’s a fun place that’s jam-packed with wonderful, affordable treasures,” says Mary Chokran, director of development and communications for HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Throw your preconceptions of a thrift store out the window. HospiceCare & Share feels more like a boutique, featuring upscale, gently worn clothing, jewelry, furniture, household items, collectibles, books, DVDs and more. “Better yet, all of the proceeds from the Thrift Shop benefit HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield counties, enabling us to provide our compassionate end-of-life care to everyone in our community who needs it, whether or not they can pay for our services,” adds Chokran. “Everyone who donates to the Thrift Shop, and everyone who shops here, helps HospiceCare help terminally ill people and their families. That’s a really great thing. And as our area’s only nonprofit hospice, we are so grateful for their much-needed support.” HospiceCare & Share Thrift Shop accepts donations and is open for community-minded shopping every day.
