In its 32nd year of operation, Robb’s Boulder Music has long secured its position as a community icon. Carrying a dizzying array of musical instruments and accessories for the amateur guitarist up to the professional band, Robb’s “pretty much has it all,” says owner Seth Goodman, a musician in his own right. In its newer location, which has practically doubled the former shop’s floor space, Robb’s Boulder Music is featuring some of the biggest products in the industry brand-wise. New and expanded lines include DW Drums and the full line of Gibson products. In addition to its full-service repair shop, Robb’s provides rentals for any PA or live-sound need, plus all the gear for KBCO’s famed Studio C. The best part of running a shop like Robb’s, where Colorado favorites like String Cheese Incident, Bela Fleck and “the Leftover guys” drop by regularly, “is really just being a fun, creative part of the Boulder community,” says Goodman. “It’s so multifaceted. We have great customers and creative, fun people that allow us to make some great friends and connections—and customers for life.”
