While this French-inspired eatery started serving up yummy meals in 2003, it’s Brasserie Ten Ten’s decadent weekend brunch that has really caught on. Thanks to executive chef Anthony Hessel’s (who also heads The Med) immersion in French culture and cooking overseas, the restaurant maintains a lively social scene that feels like a true brasserie. “It’s a place to have fun, eat well, enjoy your friends and relax with a glass of French wine or Belgian beer,” says spokesperson Peggy Romano. The atmosphere is only trumped by the wide variety of scrumptious late-morning edibles. Favorite entrees for sweet and savory taste buds include fresh fruit bellinis, eggs Benedict, and the pan-roasted chicken and waffle with herb and peach syrup (back by popular demand). Salads, soups, steak frites and crepes also crowd the menu. New items include a country scramble and scrambled eggs with Long Family Farm pork belly and local farm-fresh vegetables. The menu changes seasonally but the solid service, thankfully, does not.
