Whether you are planning an intimate get-together or hosting a full-out flash mob, the dedicated people at A Spice of Life are sure to make your party a success. They’ve been doing it since 1987 and nobody does it better. “We don’t just put together menus, we craft memorable events, from farm-to-table dinners or planning the tents and lighting for 500 people,” says Laurel Toney, sales assistant. A Spice of Life’s personalized approach lets you take your ideas and personal tastes and turn them into the event extraordinaire that your guests deserve. “We take great pride in making everyone who attends feel like a VIP,” Toney says. With a crew of up to 120 caterers at the ready, A Spice of Life can manage even the largest event with style and grace. We appreciate their commitment as a Zero Waste community partner and their support of many worthy organizations throughout Boulder County. “We enjoy the wide variety of events we have the pleasure of catering and look forward to serving you soon,” Toney says.

The Rib House

Saucy, sweet and spicy! That’s the way we like our barbecue, and The Rib House is your favorite place for authentic, Kansas City-style ribs, sausage, brisket and succulent sides, with the kind of friendly service that makes you come back. Kansas City natives Merry Ann and Tracy Webb came to Colorado in 1989 and immediately started missing the classic barbecue restaurants they left behind. They opened their first Rib House in July 2001 and Colorado barbecue has never been the same since. “There’s nothing baby-sized about our Baby Back Ribs,” Tracy says. “They’re so tender, you grab the rib and the meat falls off the bone. Honestly, they’re so good, our ribs have turned vegetarians into meat eaters,” he says with a laugh. Your order is served with your choice of four warm sauces on the side, from mild to fire to match your taste buds. “The hotter sauces aren’t just about burning your mouth,” Tracy explains, “they deliver lots of flavor.” Side orders make it a meal, and you can choose from BBQ beans, red-skinned mashers, coleslaw, chipotle potato salad, and the famous Cheesy Corn Bake. Finish with an order of cobbler, key lime pie or a fudgy brownie, just because you deserve it!
